Like most soap operas, “Spectral Shadows” occasionally deals with subject matter of a sexual nature. There may be in depth discussion between characters on the topics of alien mating habits, reproductive biology and social customs.

     Also note that action scenes in this series may be vividly violent, and certain imagery described in the story may be disturbing to sensitive readers.

     Though sex and violence are far from the main focus of this series, the author regards “Spectral Shadows” to be a work of science fiction aimed at adult aged readers. No restraint is applied with the thought that children 16 years of age or younger might be reading, or that they would be even remotely interested in reading something of such a cerebral nature.
